To change the transmittable signals for

operating another manufacturer’s VCR

operating a CATV converter or satellite tuner

1.Press and hold VCR POWER.

2.Press VCR.

3.Enter manufacturer’s code (two digits) using

buttons 1–9, and 0.

See the list below to find the code.

Examples: For a PANASONIC product, press 0, then 7. For a MITSUBISHI product, press 1, then 3.

4. Release VCR POWER.

Following button can be used for operating the VCR:

VCR POWER: Turns on and off the VCR.

After pressing VCR, you can perform the following operations on the VCR:

VCR CH +/–:

Changes the TV channels on the VCR.

3:

Starts playback.

1:

Rewinds a video tape.

Á:

Fast winds a video tape.

7:

Stops operation.

8:

Pauses. To resume playing, press 3.

REC PAUSE:

Pauses recording temporarily.

Note:

Refer to the manual supplied with your VCR.

5. Try to operate your VCR by pressing VCR POWER.

When your VCR turns on or off, you have entered the correct code.

If there are more than one code listed for your brand of VCR,

try each one until the correct one is entered.

buttons 1–9, and 0.

For a SONY product, press 2, then 0.

4. Release CATV/SAT POWER.

Following button can be used for operating the CATV converter or the satellite tuner:

CATV/SAT POWER: Turns on and off the CATV converter or satellite tuner.

After pressing CATV CONTROL, you can perform the following operations on the equipment:

CATV CH +/–:

Changes the channels.

1 – 9, 0, 100+ (+10):

Selects the channel.

 

100+ (+10) button will function as the

 

ENTER button if your equipment

 

requires pressing ENTER after

 

selecting a channel number.

RETURN:

Alternates between previously selected

 

channel and the current channel.

Note:

Refer to the manual supplied with your CATV converter or satellite

tuner.

5. Try to operate your CATV converter or satellite tuner by pressing CATV/SAT POWER.

When your CATV converter or satellite tuner turns on or off, you have entered the correct code.

If there are more than one code listed for your brand of

CATV converter or satellite tuner, try each one until the correct one is entered.
