To return to the regular display:
Press DIGEST.
Note:
•With some discs, depending on the contents, it may take some time until all the scenes appear on the screen.
To advance the picture one frame at a time
Advancing a paused still picture one frame at a time.

From primary remote control only:

1. Press PAUSE at the location at which the picture is to be advanced.
The picture is paused.
2. Press PAUSE.
Each time you press PAUSE, the still picture advances to the next frame.
Press PLAY to return to normal playback.
Note:
•You can perform the above operation using 8 button on the center unit.
Slow-Motion Playback [SLOW]

1. Press PAUSE at the section you wish to view in slow motion.
The image will pause.
2. Hold down FF/¢or 4/REW for more than 2 seconds.
Hold down FF/¢will playback your selection in slow motion, starting from the pause frame.
Hold down 4/REW will playback your selection in reverse slow motion (DVD only).
Each time you hold down either button during
Forward: 1/32 =1/16 =1/8 =1/4 =1/3 =1/2
Reverse: 1/16 =1/12 =1/8 =1/4 =1/3
Pausing
Press the PAUSE button to pause
Restoring regular playback
Press the PLAY button to resume normal playback.
Notes:
•Audio is automatically muted during
•Video CDs or SVCDs cannot be played in reverse
•You can perform the above operations using 8, ¢, and 4 buttons on the center unit.
To display Continuous Photos [STROBE]
Nine still pictures may be displayed one after the other.

From primary remote control only:

1. Press PAUSE continuously to display continuous photos.
When the screen appears displaying the nine pictures, release the PAUSE button. The screen plays back the nine pictures in
•Press PAUSE during strobe playback to pause. Press PAUSE to display the next nine still pictures. Press PLAY to resume strobe playback.
To clear the strobe screen, press PAUSE continuously until the normal screen appears.
Note:
• Audio is not played during strobe playback.
