Washing Types and Care Symbols

The care symbols help you chose the correct washing program. The washing should be sorted according to type and care symbol. The tem- peratures shown in the care symbols are the maximum temperatures in each case.

Cottons

Textiles made of cotton and linen which carry this care symbol are in- sensitive to mechanical stress and high temperatures. The programm t(COTTONS/LINEN) is suitable for this type of washing.

Linen

Textiles made of cotton and linen which carry this care symbol are in- sensitive to mechanical stress The programm t(COTTONS/LINEN) is suitable for this type of washing.

Easy-care washing

Textiles such as treated cotton, cotton mixed fabrics, viscose and syn- thetics which carry this care symbol require chemically more gentle treatment. The program }(EASY CARES)/<(EASY IRON) is suitable for this type of washing.

Delicates

Textiles such as layered fabrics, micro fabrics, viscose, synthetics and cur- tains which carry this care symbol require particularly gentle treatment. The program Ã(DELICATES) is suitable for this type of washing.

Wool and especially sensitive washing 9 ì ï

Textiles such as wool, wool mixtures and silk which carry this care sym- bol are particularly sensitive to mechanical stress. The program

s(WOOLLENS)/P(Hand Wash) is suitable for this type of textile.

Important! Textiles with the care symbol (do not wash!) must not be washed in washing machines.
