To play back only intros (Track Intro Scan)

You can play back the first 15 seconds of each track sequentially.

1Press M (MODE) while playing a CD.

“Mode” appears on the display. The next-step-operation buttons start flashing.

2Press number button 1, while “Mode” is still on the display.

Each time you press the button, “Intro Track” or “Intro Off” appears alternately.

Prohibiting CD ejection

You can prohibit CD ejection and can lock a CD

in the loading slot.

While pressing CD/CD-CH, press and

hold for more than 2 seconds.

“No Eject” flashes on the display for about

5 seconds, and the CD is locked and cannot be

ejected.

When track intro scan is turned on, the (track intro) indicator lights up on the display. The first 15 seconds of each track is played sequentially.

To cancel track intro scan, select “Intro Off” by pressing number button 1 repeatedly or press number button 4 in step 2.

To cancel the prohibition and unlock the CD

While pressing CD/CD-CH, press and hold again for more than 2 seconds.

“Eject OK” flashes on the display for about 5 seconds, and the CD is unlocked.
