To stop play and eject the disc

Press OFF 0 briefly.

Disc play stops, the display panel moves down, then the disc automatically ejects from the loading slot.

To move up the display panel, press ¢ or 4 . If no button is pressed, the display panel will move up in about 5 minutes.

CAUTION:

NEVER insert your finger between the display panel and the unit, as it may get caught in the unit.

Note:

If the ejected disc is not removed for about 15 seconds, the disc is automatically inserted again into the loading slot to protect it from dust. (Disc play will not start this time.)

Changing the display information

While playing back an MP3 file, you can change MP3 disc information shown on the display.

Select text display mode while playing a MP3 disc.

Each time you press DISP (D), the display changes to show the following:

When “TAG DISP” is set to “TAG ON” (initial setting: see page 34)

Album name / performer (folder name*)

(TAG lights up on the display)

Track title (file name*)

(TAG lights up on the display)

Elapsed playing time (with track No.)

* If an MP3 file does not have ID3 tags, folder
