‘LCD backlight
➥Automatically turns ON for 5 sec. when you push any key, ex- cept [PTT].
‘Auto power save
➥The power save function reduces the current drain to conserve battery power.
-The function automatically turns ON when no operation is per- formed or no signal is received for 5 sec.
‘Resetting the transceiver
Initialize the operating conditions before using the transceiver for the first time, or if the function display shows erroneous in- formation.
➥While pushing [DOWN]/[Z] and [MODE], push [POWER] ON to initial- ize the transceiver.
