‘Optional HM-75A functions

The optional HM-75A allows you to remotely select operating chan- nels, open the squelch, etc. The switches on the HM-75A function as follows.

CAUTION: When connecting the HM-75A to the transceiver, make sure that power to the transceiver is turned OFF, other- wise the transceiver may malfunction.

SWITCH	NORMAL		While holding [PTT]

A	Smart-Ring		No function

B	Open squelch		No function

UP	Change the oper-
	ating	channel	Smart-Ring
	number up.

DOWN	Change the oper-
	ating	channel	Call-Ring
	number down.

PTT switch			A
PTT switch			B
Lock switch:
Locks all	OFF	ON
Locks all		LOCK
switches
except [PTT]
