CE: Conversion Instructions

Model 825, 870, and 890 (with V5R2) Processor or Package Feature Conversion Instructions

A)Print LPAR config

B)Power off any secondary partitions and set to hold (don't IPL on system IPL)

C)Instruct customer to make "Available" (LPAR state) all standby processors that have been activated and assigned to partitions

D)Power off the system

Install new Hardware and IPL

1)CE determines if a message (ATTENTION: CUOD CAPACITY CARD

ERROR, XX STANDBY PROCESSORS IN LPAR PARTITIONS) is displayed on the

IPL or Install the System screen and SRC A6004716 is shown on the panel
