NOTE: If the 32-bit compatibility libraries are not installed on a 64-bit Linux system, the shared services fail to start the inventory collector and display the error message libstdc++.so.5 is required to run the Inventory Collector. The srvadmin-cm.rpmprovides the binaries for the inventory collector. For the list of RPMs that srvadmin-cm depends on, see the OpenManage Server Administrator Installation Guide available at dell.com/support/manuals.

NOTE: Inventory Collector is required to update Dell consoles using Dell Update packages.

NOTE: Some of the Inventory Collector features are not supported on OMSA (64–bit).
