To change Ping Speed:

1.From the Sonar Page, press MENUto PING SPEEDENT.

2.The Ping Speed Control Bar appears. Press to increase ping speed; press to decrease speed. When it's set at the desired level, press EXIT.

To adjust Sensitivity:

1.From the Sonar Page, press MENUENT.

2.The Sensitivity Control Bar appears. Press to decrease sensitivity; press to increase sensitivity. When it's set at the desired level, press EXIT. (When you reach the maximum or minimum limit, a tone sounds.)

To turn off HyperScroll:

1.From the Sonar Page, press MENUto PING SPEEDENT.

2.The Ping Speed Control Bar appears. Pressto decrease ping speed to 50 percent. When it's set at the desired level, press EXIT.

When you boost ping speed and switch into HyperScroll, the width of the FasTrack bar graph display doubles in width at the right side of the screen. This allows you to better see the virtually instantaneous sonar returns, just as you would on a flasher sonar unit. For more informa- tion on FasTrack, see its entry in this section.

Pop-up Help

Help is available for virtually all of the menu labels on this unit. By highlighting a menu item and leaving it highlighted for a few seconds, a "pop-up" message appears that describes the function of the menu item. This feature is on by default.

To set up Popup Help: Press MENUMENUto POPUP HELP. With the option highlighted, press ENT to check it (turn on) and uncheck it (turn off). After the option is set, press EXIT to return to the page display.
