7 Troubleshooting

This section will help you identify the source of most problems that can occur with the XPower 450.

If you have a problem with the inverter, please review this section before contacting Xantrex Customer Service. If you are unable to solve a problem and need to contact Xantrex, please prepare for the call by writing down the following details:

•When and where purchased

•Inverter’s serial number

•How long the inverter has been in use

•Where it is installed

•Appliances operating when the problem occurred

•A brief description of the problem

Common problems

ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD

Do not dismantle the XPower 450. It does not contain any user-serviceable parts. Attempting to service the inverter yourself could result in an electrical shock or burn.

Failure to follow these instructions will result in death or serious injury.
