04Initial Settings

Initially, the unit is set for rear full-range speak- er connection (FULL). When rear output is connected to full range speakers (when FULL is selected), you can connect other full range speakers (PREOUT:REAR) or a subwoofer (PREOUT:SUB W) to the RCA rear output.

output, select FULL (full-range speaker).

# When a subwoofer is connected to the rear

output, select SUB W (subwoofer).

# When the rear output setting is SUB W, you cannot operate the following procedure.

4Push MULTI-CONTROL left or right to switch the subwoofer output or rear out- put.

Pressing c or d will switch between PREOUT:SUB W and PREOUT:REAR and that status will be displayed.

Notes

!Even if you change this setting, there is no output unless you turn the subwoofer output on (refer to Using subwoofer output on page 38).

!If you change this setting, subwoofer output in the audio menu return to the factory set- tings.

!Both rear speaker lead outputs and RCA rear

output are switched simultaneously in this setting.

Multi language display setting

Text information such as title name, artist name or comment can be recorded on a com- pressed audio disc.

This unit can display them even if they are em- bedded in a European language or Russian.

!If the embedded language and the selected language setting are not the same, text in- formation may not be displayed properly.

!Some characters may not be displayed properly.

2Use MULTI-CONTROL to select TITLE.

3Press MULTI-CONTROL to select the de- sired setting.
