Transposing the entire VK-8

KEY TRANSPOSE (-6–0–+5)

This transposes the entire VK-8. The value is in semitone steps over a range of -6–0–+5. With a setting of 0, there will be no transposition.

Switching the polarity of the control pedal

CONTROL PEDAL POLARITY (STANDARD / REVERSE)

Depending on the type of pedal switch, the result when the switch is operated may be the opposite of what you intend. If the pedal switch does not operate as described in this owner’s manual, change the polarity setting.

Turning the [VIBRATO AND CHORUS] knob toward the right will select STANDARD, and all of the D BEAM TYPE indicators will light.

Turning it toward the left will select REVERSE, and all of the D BEAM TYPE indicators will go out.

Effect and Other Settings

1.Hold down the HARMONIC BAR PART [UPPER] and [PEDAL] buttons, and press the [PRESET] button.

The indicators of buttons [1]–[5] will blink.

2.Press one of the [1]–[5] buttons to select the parameter that you want to edit.

There are five effect-related parameters.

3.Turn the [VIBRATO AND CHORUS] knob to adjust the setting.

If you press the VIBRATO AND CHORUS [ON] button, the setting will return to its initial value.

4.If you want to edit another parameter, press the appropriate button from [1] through [5] to select the parameter, and turn the [VIBRATO AND CHORUS] knob to adjust the setting.

When you want to stop editing, press the HARMONIC BAR PART [UPPER] button.

5.Press the [WRITE] button to finalize the settings of the effect-related parameters.

6.Save the finalized parameter settings in a preset (p. 45).

NOTE

Never turn off the power while preset are being saved.
