Appendices ~ Appendix F: Serial Commands

MDMODE

This command enables or disables the modem mode for the AP800. When the modem mode is enabled, the modem initialization string is sent out the serial port and the serial port now requires a password before a command is processed. Note: The default password is a carriage return (enter). If the password is forgotten, it can be cleared back to a carriage return via the front panel.

INACTIVITY NOTE:

After five minutes of serial inactivity, the password will be requested to continue serial activity.

Explanation

<X>

X=0 Sets modem mode to OFF

X=1 Sets modem mode to ON

MEQ

This command changes or reports back the state of the equalizer adjustment for a microphone input.

[DEVICE] MEQ <CH> <BAND> <X>

Explanation

<CH>

CH= 1-8 Parameter to apply to the specified microphone channel

CH= * Parameter to apply command to all microphone channels

<BAND>

BAND=H, M, L Parameter to select which band is modified

<X>

X=-12 –12 Parameter to set level of the band

X=Null Parameter to return the current level

Return Values

The command will return the updated condition (1=On, 0=Off) of the pin in the same format as the command.
