RIDING YOUR AVENGER

MOUNTING

Note: For you first driving sessions, make certain that your Golden Avengerstarts out on a level surface and that you will continue driving on a level surface.

To get on Your Avenger

1.Stand behind your Avenger

2.Make certain that the brake handle is in the “Forward” position.

3.Pull up on the seat rotate lever.

This lever is normally located on the right-hand side of the seat.

Pull the lever up, and position the seat in a comfortable position for seating.

Release the lever to lock the seat into one of the four preset

locking positions.

WARNING: BE SURE YOUR SEAT IS LOCKED IN THE FORWARD POSITION BEFORE OPERATING.

Make certain that the seat is positioned for safe and easy mounting.

Position yourself in the seat.

Use the seat rotate lever to position the seat in the fully forward direction.

Fasten your lap belt, if your Avengeris so equipped.

BASIC DRIVING

1.Make certain that you are seated safely and properly on your Avenger.

2.Turn the speed control dial fully counterclockwise to its slowest setting.

NOTE: Reverse movement of the scooter may not occur when the speed control dial is set fully counterclockwise at it’s slowest setting.

3.Insert the key into the keyhole.

4.Push the key all the way into the key receptacle and turn clockwise to power the scooter.

5.Place your hands on the handgrips.

a.If you wish to drive forward, position your right thumb on the right thumb lever and push forward.
