To replace the battery, follow these steps:

NOTE: A replacement battery (CR2032) can be found at most pharmacies or ordered through the Bayer Diabetes Care Helpline.

1.Hold the meter with the display screen down. Open the meter by pressing in on the open latch and pulling up.

2.Slide out the battery holder.

NOTE: You must open the meter ﬁrst in order to remove the battery holder. DO NOT PRY the battery holder out!

3.Remove the old battery by pushing it out from the back side with your thumb.
