4HHTFO THERMOMETER HARDWARE REFERENNCE

4.1Display description

The display is organized in 3 logical regions:

The top portion gives generaal information to the user about the unit current status, such as battery condition, RS232 port conneection status, time and date, presence / absence of a SD memory card, and so forth.

The middle portion displays the temperature value. Sometime, other values can be displayed here.

The bottom portion shows twwo icons that can be invoked to further configure your thermometer, or to give you access to more advvanced menus.

The display is illustrated below:

4.2 Keypad operation

The keypad is composed of 6 keys, as follows:

Escape key

Up & Dowwn keys

OK key

Left & Right keys

The Escape key has the following funnctions:

To move up inside a menu

When used in conjunction with the OK key, it controls the backlight feature

The OK key is used to:

To move down inside a menu

When used in conjunction with the Esc key, it controls the backlight feature

To confirm a specific menu selection
