B. TROUBLESHOOT WHIRLPOOL SYSTEM
This troubleshooting guide is for general aid only. A Kohler Authorized Service Representative or a qualified electrician should correct all electrical problems. For warranty service, contact your dealer or wholesale distributor.
SYMPTOMS
1.Whirlpool does not start/stop.
PROBABLE CAUSES
A.No power to pump/control.
B.Jets are blocked.
C.Switch disconnected from pump/control box.
D.Switch faulty.
E.Faulty circuit board.
RECOMMENDED ACTION
A. Set/Reset GFCI; check wiring to |
pump/receptacle. |
B. Remove blockage. |
C. Reconnect switch to pump/control |
box. |
D. Replace switch. |
E. Replace circuit board inside |
pump/control box. |
2.Motor starts, all jets are not functioning.
3.Whirlpool stops automatically before 18 minutes.
4.Whirlpool does not automatically stop after 22 minutes.
5.Pump does not prime.
6.Noisy operation.
F.Faulty motor/pump assembly. A. Jet is closed.
B. Trim kit installed incorrectly.
A.GFCI trips.
B.Suction blocked.

D.Motor overheated and protection device activated.

A.Lower pump/control to subfloor level that bath is resting upon.
A.Cut straps with tin snips.
B.Remove jet, replace and lubricate
