Cables: Cable Duct

The integrated cable duct in the column enables a neat cable layout around the micro- scope. For example, the USB or FireWire cables of the camera can be stowed in the cable duct.

Feeding the cables

1.Unscrew the three screws on the cable duct.

2. Remove the cover of the cable duct.

3.Place the cables in the cable duct and screw the cover on tightly.

Tip: Estimate the length of the cable ends you will need before screwing on the cover. For thick cables, it is difficult to change the length retroactively.
