Accessing a Line Using the Line Key

Press Line 1 or Line 2 to access the appropriate line. When the line key is pressed, the LED on the line key turns on indicating the selected line is in use. If the handset is used, the user hears a dial tone through the handset. If the handset is in the cradle and the telephone was originally on-hook, pressing the line key causes the telephone to go off-hook and turns on the handsfree feature. The user hears dial tone through the telephone speaker.

Volume Control

There are four volume settings:

Handset

Headset

Speakerphone

Ringer Volume

There are five volume levels for each volume setting.

Handset Volume Control

To change the volume on the handset:

With the handset off-hook, press (increase) or (decrease) to adjust the volume. The volume of the handset changes as the keys are pressed.

If no activity is detected for 2.5 seconds, the volume setting screen disappears and returns the LCD to the original display and the volume setting is saved.
