3. Enter the phone number.

Enter Phone Number: 98171234567

Whenever the CANCEL/DEL key is pressed, the last digit will be deleted.

Whenever the REDIAL key is pressed, the character “,” will be inserted.

The “,” character represents a 2 second pause is to be performed between the previous digit and the next digit, when the entry is dialed.

The phone number field contains a phone number (or an extension) up to 24 digits.

4. After the phone number is entered, press the SELECT key.

The save confirmation screen will be displayed for 1 second. Then, it will return to the Phone Book Menu with the Add item menu.

If the name of the entry already exists in the Phone Book, the following message will be shown and ask user to replace the existing entry. If user selects “Yes”, the old entry will be deleted and the new entry will be saved. If user selects “No”, it will return to the Step 2 to allow user to change the name.

If the item could not be saved, the following message will be shown on the LCD for 1 second and then return to the Phone Book Menu with the Add item. If name or number or both is not entered, this message will also appear.
