Numbers 0~255 are valid entries for the Subnet Mask.

4.After the correct Subnet Mask is entered, press SELECT key and restart the telephone, or press CANCEL/DEL key to cancel restart the phone and continue setting up the telephone.

• Pressing CANCEL/DEL key returns to the previous menu. To exit programming and return the telephone to standby mode, press MENU key. If LINE1, LINE2, SPEAKER/HEADSET are pressed or if the handset is picked up, the telephone goes off-hook and restart is cancelled. When the telephone restarts, the network settings are not used until after the telephone has been initialized.

If the Subnet Mask is not valid, “Invalid Input” is displayed for one second before returning the display to the Subnet Mask.

The new Subnet Mask address is not recognized until the telephone has been reinitialized. Once the telephone restarts, a restart confirmation message is displayed on the LCD. “Initializing...\” is displayed in the LCD while the telephone resets.

This option is used to read/write the default Gateway IP address.

To read/write the default Gateway IP address:

1.If already in the Network Configuration menu, use the or keys to access the Default Gateway option.

2.Press SELECT key to display the current Default Gateway.

3.Press SELECT key again and enter the default Gateway IP address. The format of the default Gateway IP address is: XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX
