CAUTION

Always connect the AC adapter to the phone before you connect it to AC power. When you finish, disconnect the adapter from AC power before you disconnect it from the phone.

Installing Your Telephone

On a Wall Plate

1.Insert the bracket's tabs into the base's lower tab slots. Then, press down on the bracket's clips and insert them into the clip slots.

2.Plug one end of the supplied short modular cord into the TEL LINE jack on the back of the base.

3.Insert the supplied AC adapter's barrel plug into the DC IN 9V jack.

4.Route the adapter and modular cords through the grooves on the bottom of the base.

5.Plug the modular cord into the wall plate jack. Then align the base's keyhole slots with the wall plate studs and slide the base down to secure it.

6.Plug the adapter into a standard AC outlet.

7.Push up on the handset holder. Then lift and remove it. Turn it over and rotate it so that the oval-shaped indention is at the bottom. Then slide it down into its slot. Snap it back into place so that it holds the handset.

8.Lift the base’s antenna to a vertical position.
