RESETTING THE TAD

If the TAD locks up for an unknown reason or does not operate properly, you might need to reset it.

Important: Resetting the TAD deletes all recorded messages (including any outgoing announcements), date and time settings, number of rings, mes- sage length, and the remote operation code.

Use a pointed object, such as a straightened paper clip, to press RE- SET.

The TAD initializes itself and the ON LINE, MEMO, and PLAY indicators flash six times. Then the ON LINE indi- cator lights steadily.
