The answering machine
Operating modes
The answering machine of the Gigaset 2015 plus has three modes of operation as follows:
1.Call recording after announcement 1
2.Call recording after announcement 2
3.Advisory message
An announcement informs the caller that you are una-
vailable. The caller can then leave a message (call record- ing). An advisory message provides the caller with im-
portant information in your absence, but the caller cannot leave a message.
You can record a different text for each operating mode (announcement 1, announcement 2, advisory message). There is a default prerecorded announcement on your machine. You can set one of the three operating modes for the period of your absence.
Depending on how full the message memory is, different recording densities can be selected, thus determining the recording quality. If the message memory is full, “adviso- ry message” mode is automatically activated. Conse- quently, it is advisable to record an advisory message for recording modes.
