To store a notepad number in the phonebook

You must include a name to go with the number.

Using the phonebook

You can store up to 20 of your most important or frequently dialled numbers in your Synergy’s phonebook.

Stored numbers can be up to 25 digits long and each one must have a name allocated to it. The maximum number of characters in the name field is 12.

Use the keypad to enter the name you want.

To ensure that the Caller Display facility operates correctly you should always enter the full telephone number into the phone book, including the area code, for example 0845602641.

All entries in the phonebook are listed in alphabetical order.

For example, to enter the name ANNE:

2ABC Press once to enter A. Each time you have entered a letter wait for the cursor to move to the next space.

6MNO Press twice to enter N. 6MNO Press twice to enter N. 3DEF Press twice to enter E.

0 To insert ‘&’.

To exit the options menu at any time,

press the button until the display

returns to standby.

If you make a mistake, press the DEL button to delete the previous character or press the END button.
