6.3.4. NAT Traversal

In case the CWP-100 is used in a private network environment behind the IP router, NAT traversal function enables the CWP-100 to connect with the external VoIP devices. When the server supports NAT traversal function, no other configurations are required with the VoIP device. However, in case the server does not support NAT traversal function, the NAT traversal configuration for the VoIP device is required. The CWP-100 conforms to the IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) standard protocol STUN (Simple Traversal of UDP through NAT) to cope with the NAT traversal problems of VoIP protocol.
