Setting up the answering machine

“Answer off”.

The base display will show P flashing, alternating with the number of the currently selected outgoing message (1 = Answer and Record and 2 = Answer Only).

Via the handset:

1.Press or until display shows Answer Settings and press OK option button.

2.Display shows Answer Mode. Press or until display shows Outgoing Message and press OK option button.

3.Use or to display either: Answer and Record or Answer Only and press OK option button.

4.Display shows Outgoing Message and the prompt will announce, “Your outgoing message is” , and your message will be played back to you.

Select the outgoing message answer mode

Via the base:

1. Press and hold until you hear, “Please select outgoing message” then release the button.

2. To select Answer and Record, press and release
