48Using the answering machine via the base

Press Stop at any time to stop playback.

If you select a message to be deleted, it will be deleted at the end of playback after the 8 second countdown and confirmation tone.

If you decide not to delete, press Stop during the countdown.

Message playback

1 Press

Play . You will hear, “You have (n) messages”.

 

 

Your message(s) begin to play back, starting with the

 

 

first message received. Both new and old messages will

 

 

be played.

 

 

 

 

At the start of each message, the number of the message

 

 

is announced and displayed on the base.

 

 

 

During playback:

Play , to pause a message, P will flash in the display

 

 

and you will hear a beep every 10 seconds.
