Make a call

1.Press . The display shows the call timer, e.g. 00:30.

Enter the telephone number and the number is dialled.

Preparatory dialling

1. Enter the number first then press to dial.

End a call

1. Press or place the handset back on the base.

Receiving calls

When the telephone rings the icon will flash.

1.Press or lift the handset from the base.

Earpiece volume

There are volume 5 levels to choose from, 1 for low volume, 5 for high volume.

1.Press and hold Prog , then press 4 .

2.Press 1 - 5 to select the volume you want.

3.Press Prog to confirm.

Call timer

Your handset automatically displays the duration of every external call.

Press Clr. to delete an incorrect digit.

If you have subscribed to a Caller Display service, your caller’s number will also be shown. If the number is withheld the display shows - - - - - . See page 24 for more information.

The earpiece volume can only be changed when you are on a call.

If you don’t press Prog, then after a few seconds the volume indicator will disappear from the display and the new setting will be automatically saved.
