Receiving an SMS message

When you receive an SMS message you will hear a short

ring, the flashes and Message X will be displayed (where X is the number of messages received). The green light on the base also flashes.

When you have read all new messages, the symbol in the display and the base light stop flashing.

The total number of messages received will remain on the display until they have been deleted from the Inbox.

Delivery of SMS messages

The system will always try and deliver the message to

a text enabled phone in written format, only if there is a problem with delivery will the message be delivered as voice text, with the exception of forced voice text messages. See the Help section on page 58.

Once registered, SMS message delivery is 24 hours.
