LCD DISPLAY ON HANDSET

Symbol Explanation

Always displayed when your handset is on, shows the battery status.

All bars filled - battery fully charged.

Empty and you hear a warning tone (during a call)

-batteries are low and need charging. In Use indicator

Illuminate when the phone is in use.

Flashes when receiving an external (outside) call. Remains steady when an external call is in progress.

Flashes when receiving an internal call.

Remains steady when an internal call is in progress.

Flashes when you have new Calls log entries.

Remains steady when viewing the Calls log.

Keypad is locked. You cannot make calls, only receive them.

Displayed when you have a message waiting.

Displayed when you access the menu.

The call is muted.

-Flashes when the handset is losing its signal link with the base

Displayed when the handset ringer is set to OFF.

- When the displayed phone number/name has more than 12 digits/charcters, this symbol is displayed to indicate there is more to view. The display can only show 12 digits/characters at one time.
