OPERATION

Line Status Indicators

The 2802CID is equipped with visual indicators that show status of the telephone line(s). They are:

Ringing Line: The LED above the corresponding line key illuminates RED when the line is ringing.

Line In- Use: The LED above the corresponding line key illuminates GREEN when off-hook.

Line On- Hold: The LED above the corresponding line key turns from green to RED when pressing the “Hold” key.

(all remote extensions will light red).

Note:

The GREEN in-use indicators are controlled by the 24V/48V/OFF switch settings. Refer to details on page 16 if the in-use indicators are not functioning properly.
