4.25.2Turning on or off the answering machine
1.Press MENU (Base) and then or to select
ANS. MACHINE.
2.Press MENU (Base) and or to select
or ANSWERER OFF. If the answering machine is turned on originally, ANSWERER OFF will be displayed. If the answering machine is turned off originally, ANSWERER ON will be displayed.
3.Press MENU (Base) to confirm the setting.
OR
You can press to toggle between answering machine on and answering machine off.
4.25.3 Setting the announcement mode
1.Press MENU (Base) and then or to select
ANS. MACHINE.
2.Press MENU (Base) and then or to select
ANSWER MODE.
3.Press MENU (Base) and then or to select the announcement modes:
•ANNC & REC invites your callers to leave a message.
•ANNC ONLY lets callers hear your announcement but they cannot leave a message.
4.Press MENU (Base) to save the setting.
4.25.4Setting the rings to answer
1.Press MENU (Base) and then or to select
ANS. MACHINE.
2.Press MENU (Base) and then or to select
RINGS TO ANS.
3.Press MENU (Base) and then or to select the rings to answer. (4 options are available:
TOLL SAVER, 3 RINGS, 4 RINGS, and 5 RINGS).
4.Press MENU (Base) to save the setting.
NOTE
If TOLL SAVER setting is selected, the answering machine will pick up after three rings if there are new messages, and after five rings if there is no message.
