SOS call function

The SOS call function is very useful for people at home to make an emergency call to ask for help from their relatives, police, doctor, etc.

How SOS call function works

ξ

Press and hold SOS button

for more than 2 seconds.

ξ

The line is automatically seized and dials to each of the pre-stored SOS numbers,

 

starting with the first. and it

will wait for 1 minute and then drop the call.

ξ The line is automatically seized and dials to each of the pre-stored SOS numbers, will wait for 1 minute and then drop the call.

ξ Then it makes another call to the second SOS number, if programmed, and sends the lannouncement to ine for another 1 min.

ξ Finally it will make another call to the third SOS number, if programmed, and send the announcement to line for another 1 minute.

How to terminate SOS call function

ξ When the SOS call function is active, you can only terminate this function by lifting up the corded handset on the base. It can not be terminated by using any buttons on the cordless handset.

To Set SOS numbers

User is allowed to set up to 3 SOS numbers and 1 SOS voice recording.

Press the MENU/OK/MUTE. Scroll DOWN until you see “SOS SETTINGS”.

Press the MENU/OK/MUTE and you will see “SOS NUMBER”.

Press the MENU/OK/MUTE and you will see “SOS NUMBER 1”.

or Scroll UP or DOWN to select SOS NUMBER 1 to 3.

Then press the MENU/OK/MUTE to select the one you want to program.

Enter the phone number.

Then press the MENU/OK/MUTE. You will hear a beep and the number is saved.

If you want to save more SOS numbers, press the DOWN to select the next location you want to program,and repeat above steps.

Press the PHONE BOOK/BACK until you return to idle mode.
