Greeting Message

This option allows you to enter a greeting message that will be displayed when your phone is in the Standby mode. You can change the greeting message according to your own pref- erence.

Greeting Message

1.In the Standby mode, press the Menu soft key.

2.Press the soft key repeatedly until Greeting Message appears.

3.Press the Select soft key. The cursor is blinking. If you have already registered a greeting message, the message is displayed.

4.Enter your personal greeting by pressing the alphanumeric keys on the number keypad. A maximum of 16 digits can be entered. For details on entering a name, see page 33.

Note: If necessary, use the key to erase the current greeting message.

5.Press the OK soft key to save the setting.

Note: If you want to restore the greeting message to the default setting, SAMSUNG, erase all the existing mes- sages and press the OK soft key.

Ring

You can use the Ring menu to customize various sound settings such as ring volume, type and tone. Also you can delay the ring for a specified time via the menu.

Choosing Ring Tone

You can define your own ring sound. Ten ring tones are available.The factory default setting is ‘Tone 1’.

1.In the Standby mode, press the Menu soft key.

2.Press the soft key repeatedly until Ring appears, then press the Select soft key. Ring Tone appears.

3.Press the Select soft key to access the option.

4.Press the soft key repeatedly until you choose a

desired ring tone. Each time you press the soft key, the handset sounds the ring you have chosen.

5.Press the OK soft key to confirm the setting.
