Telephone base installation

Install the telephone base as shown below. Make sure that the electrical outlet is not controlled by a wall switch. If you subscribe to Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) high-speed Internet service through your telephone line, you must have a DSL filter between the telephone base and the telephone wall jack. The filter prevents noise and caller ID problems caused by DSL interference. Please contact your DSL service provider for more information about DSL filters.
