Handset Icons

Icon

 

Description

 

 

 

• Turns on when the Handset is in speaker phone mode.

 

 

 

MUTE

 

• Turns on when the microphone is muted.

 

 

 

NEW

 

• Turns on when there are new call log enteries.

 

 

 

 

 

• Turns on when the ringer is muted.

 

 

 

 

 

• Low battery indicator or charging indicator.

 

 

 

Handset LEDs

SPEAKERPHONE

• LED is on when in speakerphone mode.

 

 

Base LEDs

LED

Description

IN USE

• On when the phone is off hook.

• Flashes when an extension phone is off hook.

 

 

 

CHARGING

• On when the Handset is charging in the cradle.

 

 

PLAY/STOP

• Lights beneath the Play/Stop buttons will flash when

new messages are in the corresponding mailbox.

 

1, 2, 3

• On when only old messages are in the corresponding

 

mailbox.

ANSWER ON/OFF

• On when the answering system is on.
