Using the dialpad to enter text

Steps to Take

1.To enter text, find the number key associated with the letter you want to enter, and perform one of these actions:

To enter the first letter, press the key once.

To enter the second letter, press the key twice.

To enter the third letter, press the key three times.

The letter appears on the display.

2.To enter special characters perform theses actions. See “Figure 4: Special Characters” for the list of special characters that are available.

a.Press the Symbol soft key. A list of symbols opens.

b.Scroll through the list and select the symbol.

c.Press Ok to enter the symbol.
