Button Mapping on the Handset

When you have completed the steps in Handset Configuration on page 27, then, you can map the feature buttons on your set.

The handsets have six feature buttons. These buttons can be programmed by your system administrator. You can also program the buttons from your handset. The following section describes the usual mapping of the buttons, based on the M7310 telephone button mapping.

The illustration below shows examples of the default button mapping for the handset.

The following two illustrations show the correlation between the T7406 handset buttons and the M7310 and T7316 telephones, which are standard telephones used for Norstar and Business Communications Manager systems.
