Telephone settings

You can change settings to program how the telephone works.

Press CID/SETUP repeatedly until the feature you want is displayed. Press or CID to change set- tings. Press CID/SETUP again to accept the new setting and move to next feature. Press FLASH any time to exit.

Contrast

There are five contrast levels (1-5). Press or CID to adjust screen contrast to maximize readability in different lighting conditions.

Call history

Press or CID to turn the caller ID history on or off:

All calls: Each incoming call is logged.

No calls: No caller ID information is kept.

Repeated calls

The caller ID history notifies you when multiple calls are received from the same caller. Press or CID to turn this feature on or off:

Combined: Only the most recent call from each number is kept. A REP icon is displayed if more than one call is received from the same caller.

Separate: Each call is logged, even if the same person calls more than once.

Caller ID with call waiting

If you subscribe to combined caller ID with call waiting service from your local telephone com- pany, when this feature is on, the telephone dis- plays and logs caller ID information if you get a new incoming call while on an existing call. When this feature off, the telephone does not display and log caller ID information, but you can still hear one beep to remind you there is an external call. You can press FLASH to answer the call. Press or CID to turn this feature on or off.
