1Press m in idle mode, scroll n to
ANSW MACHINE and press o.
2PLAY is displayed. Press o to start playing new messages.
•The handset displays NEW and the number of new messages in the format 1/4, where 1 is the number of the message being played and 4 is the number of new messages.
•If there are no new messages, the handset displays the number of old messages in the same format (however ‘NEW’ is not displayed.) and plays the old messages.
•If Caller Line Identification (CLI)
is available (subscription dependent), press c during
playback to see the caller’s number and the date and time information.
Functions available during playback
During playback, you can enable the following functions by pressing o. Use
nto scroll between the functions. Press o to select the function.
REPEAT | Replay the current |

8.2Delete all messages
Warning
Deleted messages cannot be recovered.
Note
Unread messages will not be deleted.

3CONFIRM? is displayed on the screen. Press o again to confirm
deletion of all your messages.
•A validation tone is emitted and the screen returns to previous menu.
8.3Turn the Answering Machine
ON/OFF
You can turn the answering machine on or off from the handset as follows.

ANSW. ON/OFF and press o.
3The current status is displayed. Scroll n to select ON or OFF and press o.
