9.Hook the holes of the Optical Communication Unit base onto the wall hooks and slide the Optical Communication Unit down to secure it.

Important

Be sure to periodically check wall mounted Optical Communication Units for looseness and tighten the screws whenever necessary.

Daisy Chaining Multiple Optical Communication Units (IT-760IOE)

You can use optional Daisy Chain Cables (DT-888RSC) to daisy chain up to seven Optical Communication Units for simultaneous uploading and downloading of data between a computer and multiple Pocket PC Termnals.

To daisy chain multiple Optical Communication Units

Connect the [C-OUT] terminal of the Optical Communication Unit that is closer to the host computer to the [C-IN] terminal of the next Optical Communication Unit the computer in the chain.

Example: 3-unit daisy chain

To your PC

Caution

Do not connect the [C-OUT] terminal and the [C-IN] terminal to the telephone line.
