If you have a problem reading a bar code, try changing the angle of the label or Pocket PC Terminal, or the distance between them.

The laser scanner can read bar codes from a distance of 60 to 420 mm under the conditions described below.

Required Reading Conditions:

Ambient Illumination: 500 to 900 lux (fluorescent lighting)

PCS: 0.45 to 0.9

Narrowest Bar Thickness: 0.127 to 1.0mm

Warning Label

This is a warning label for a Class 2 laser device that conforms to IEC60825-1.

Though there is no danger due to momentary exposure to a Class 2 laser beam, you should never stare into to the laser for long periods.

When using the laser scanner, always make sure you carefully follow the procedures and observe the precautions outlined in this manual. Failure to do so is dangerous.

The maximum output of the laser beam is less than 1mW. The wavelength is 650mm.
