Adding contacts

You can store 100 names and phone numbers to the contacts list in the phone. The maximum number of names and phone numbers that can be stored to the SIM card is dependent on your SIM card. Make sure of the memory location (phone or SIM card) before adding contacts (page 23).

4Enter the party’s name.

R To change the input letter case, press MN (page 19).

R To change the input mode:

MbN: Input mode

MbN: Select the desired input mode (page 19).

6Enter the party’s phone number. R When the selected memory location is

SIM card, go to step 9.

7MbN: (Ungrouped)

RTo add other contacts, repeat from step 2.

Note:

REach contact stored in the contacts list of the phone is limited to 16 characters max., with phone number limited to 40 digits max.

RThe number of characters and digits that can be input into each SIM card contact is limited by your SIM card.

Finding and calling from contacts

Scrolling through all contacts

All contacts stored in the phone and SIM card are displayed.

Important:

RA maximum of 254 SIM card contacts can be displayed regardless of how many contacts are stored in your SIM card.

R indicates SIM card contacts and

indicates the contacts stored in the phone.

R To change the input mode for searching the contacts list:

M#N MbN: Select the desired input

mode (page 19).

R To change the input letter case for searching the contacts list, press MN (page 19).

2MbN: Select the desired contact.

R Press a dial key (M0N to M9N) repeatedly to display each first contact corresponding to each character located on the selected dial key (page 19). If there is no contact corresponding to the character you selected, the next contact is displayed.

3MbN: Select the desired category. R To end the category search, select

All Users.

4MbN: Scroll through the contacts list if necessary. MN

Contacts list options

In the contacts list, the following options are

available by pressing :

REdit: edit and store a contact.

RCreate Message: write and send a text message (SMS).

RUse Number: edit and call using a contact.

RCreate: add a contact to the contacts list.
