Battery recharge

Problem

The phone beeps and/or flashes.

I fully charged the battery, but

still flashes or

the operating time seems to be shorter.

Cause/solution

RBattery charge is low. Fully charge the battery (page 9).

RClean the battery end (, ) and the charge contacts with a dry cloth and charge again.

RIt is time to replace the battery (page 9).

Making/answering calls

Problem

Noise is heard, sound cuts in and out.

The phone does not ring.

I cannot make a call.

I cannot receive a call.

Cause/solution

RYou are using the phone in an area with high electrical interference. Move to a location away from sources of interference.

RThe GSM network signal is weak. Check the current status and move to a new location until more bars are visible (page 12).

RThe ringer volume is turned off. Adjust ringer volume (page 15).

RNight mode is on. Turn it off (page 31).

RThe phone is not in a GSM network service coverage area. Check the current status and move to a new location until more bars are visible (page 12).

ROutgoing calls are barred. Deactivate the outgoing call bar settings (page 28).

RYour call is withheld. Change the show my ID setting to a setting other than Off(page 26).

RThe key lock is on. Unlock it (page 14).

RFixed dialling feature is enabled (page 23). Disable it.

RThe phone is not in a GSM network service coverage area. Check the current status and move to a new location until more bars are visible (page 12).

RIncoming calls are barred. Deactivate the incoming call bar settings (page 28).

RA call matching the criteria for incoming restriction is being received (page 26). Turn the incoming restriction feature off.
