Installing the SIM card and the battery

Important:

RMake sure the phone is turned off and the AC adaptor is disconnected before removing the battery.

RUse only the battery specified.

1Open the battery cover.

2Position the SIM card as shown below with the gold-coloured contacts facing down and the notched corner turned to the left. Carefully slide the SIM card into the SIM card slot until the tab is positioned on the SIM card edge.

3Insert the battery, and then close the battery cover.

Removing the SIM card

To remove the SIM card, press the tab and place a finger on the opposite side of the SIM card edge, then gently slide it out.

Battery charging

Charge for about 3 hours. Charging time and battery life might differ when the phone is out of GSM network range.

RWhen the battery is fully charged, the charge indicator goes off and Fully chargedis displayed.

RUse only the supplied AC adaptor. n Charging with charger
