From the Handset

If someone else is in the room and you want to listen to the recorded messages privately, you can use the handset.

Handset:

Press (RECALL/PLAYBACK).

³The number of new messages is heard on the handset.

Base unit:

To listen to new messages, press (NEW\MESSAGE) briefly.

To listen to all messages, press and hold (NEW\MESSAGE) until playback starts.

³The messages will be heard on the handset.

³(REPEAT/REW), (SKIP/FF) and (STOP/EXIT) can also be used during

playback (p. 67).

When finished, press (RECALL/PLAYBACK) or place the handset on the base unit.

³You can also listen to messages without using the base unit. See page 80.
