Hear only continuous static from

sure the phone is not plugged into an

 

outlet controlled by a wall switch.

 

 

 

If a power failure has occurred and

 

power will be out for some time,

 

remove the battery from the Handset.

 

This will prevent the battery from

 

completely discharging.
