Deactivating the “Smart Nav” On-Screen Menu Display

To play MP3 discs without the “Smart Nav” on-screen menu display, select PREFERENCES, then SMART NAV.

Selecting Mono Audio Output Mode

For a mono audio output mode, select AUDIO and DUAL MONO. The three settings are: Channel 1 on both outputs, Channel 2 on both outputs, and both channels mixed on both outputs.

Note:

Use this setting in installations that lack true stereo imaging opportunities, such as single-speaker installations, or public areas such as buses. If a stereo headphone system is connected, do not select a mono output mode — this will defeat the stereo headphone effect.
